I’ll get a bug fix out very soon but, as a quick fix yourself, you can open your experiment file in a text editor and, for each parameter in the code component, change the valType from ‘code’ to ‘extendedCode’ and then reload the /api/cask/psychopy.json (JSON API) Cask code on GitHub.

Sometime between then and now, I updated the packages in my Anaconda environment and inadvertently updated psychopy to version 2021.1.3.

In general, that is a hint you may be using a protected word for a variable name, and it would be good policy to change to something else, e.f.
